Privacy Policy
Theo is an AI thinking-partner service built and operated by Green Gables Studio LLC. This policy describes how phone numbers, message content, and the work-related content you share are handled.
What we collect
- Contact details submitted through our signup form: name, email address, and mobile phone number, together with the text-message consent choices made on that form.
- SMS messages exchanged with members, stored for the purpose of providing conversational context to subsequent messages.
- Documents and working-session data a member chooses to share (see "Working sessions and shared documents" below).
- Service usage data tied to the member's account.
How we use it
Contact details and message content are used solely to operate the service: delivering check-ins, conversational replies, and research a member has requested, and contacting members about their enrollment. They are not used for marketing or advertising of any kind. Text messages are sent only for the purposes a member has separately consented to on the signup form.
Service improvement and research
We use de-identified and aggregated data — including message content and service usage patterns with personal identifiers removed — to improve Theo's quality, evaluate which conversational approaches work, and train and refine the models and prompts that power the service. De-identified data cannot reasonably be linked back to you. This use never includes selling your data or sharing it for third parties' own purposes, and you may request deletion of your data at any time.
Working sessions and shared documents
When you choose to share your screen during a working session, captured frames are processed transiently to generate text observations and are not stored. Documents and links you share are stored as extracted text to power your conversations. You can end a session at any time, and sharing is always initiated by you. Before your first session we present a dedicated Screen Sharing Consent describing exactly what is captured and kept; your acceptance is recorded with its date and document version.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the service — such as our communications provider (Twilio) for delivering messages, our model provider (Anthropic) for generating message content, and our hosting and email providers — under obligations of confidentiality. We never share data for third parties' own purposes.
Business transfers
If Theo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this policy.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with the user's replies and what they have agreed on with Theo. Users may pause or stop messaging at any time by replying STOP.
STOP and HELP
- Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and stop receiving messages.
- Reply HELP at any time for assistance and contact information.
- Message and data rates may apply.
Retention
Message history is retained for the duration the user maintains an active account, and is deleted on request.
